Thank you, Jane

We’d like to thank Jane Payne, who is moving on after 19 years at Richardson Care.
Jane joined as a Registered Homes Manager in 2003, becoming Service Manager in 2011 and Operational & Clinical Officer in 2020. We are very grateful for the dedication and commitment that she has shown to the service users, their families, the staff and the company during this time. She has always been a strong advocate for the rights of service users to live their best lives, which is at the heart of the care that we provide at Richardson Care.
Jane comments: “For 19 years it has been my very real pleasure and privilege to work with colleagues and service-users to create a place that feels like home. It would be true to say that we are all part of a professionally-run happy ship; where we have all become one very joyful family.
“Along the way we have also had to ride some big waves, not least the loss of business co-founder Brian Richardson, who’s respect for all, home-for-life ethos resonated immediately with my own. It has made the day to day business challenges successfully rewarding as we navigated all with a careful balance of empathy and ethical care.”
We’d like to wish Jane the best of luck in her new venture.
Richardson Care has evolved and grown during the 19 years that Jane has been with us and we are about to embark on some more exciting developments. This gives someone else the opportunity to work with us and take the business forward in the next chapter of Richardson Care.
