In 2022, 100% of respondents were happy with their loved ones’ care

Each year we conduct a formal survey by sending a questionnaire to the families of service users in our care. We are very pleased to report that, once again, 100% of those people who responded are happy with their loved ones’ care.

A summary of all the responses is shown in this graph and you can read some additional comments below.

The families were asked…

If they strongly agreed, agreed, didn’t know or disagreed with the following statements:

  2. The home has a warm, non-institutionalised feeling
  3. The home provides an inclusive or ‘family’ environment
  4. The staff are friendly and approachable
  5. I am regularly updated with information
  6. I feel that my relative is treated with dignity and respect
  7. I feel that their quality of life has improved since they arrived at Richardson Care
  8. I feel that my relative takes part in meaningful and/or enjoyable activities
  9. Would you recommend our service to others? Yes/No

We ask the same questions each year for consistency and comparison and we are very grateful to the family members who took the time to complete the survey. We welcome all feedback at any time and are never complacent, regularly reviewing our practices and always aiming to deliver better outcomes for our service users.
