Season’s Greetings

We have lots of traditional Christmas activities taking place in our homes again this year: There are Christmas dinners and parties, carol singing, Christmas crafts, baking mince pies, film nights, winter walks and visits to the panto – oh yes there are!!
One of the guys has even been on a trip to Lapland, complete with sleigh rides, reindeer and meeting the big man himself!

We put together activity packs with festive puzzles or colouring-in, which are fun to do and good for supporting cognitive skills as well as dexterity.
Our service users are supported to make decisions around what happens in each home and to what extent they want to participate. The activities are designed to suit their individual preferences.
From all of us at Richardson Care, we’d like to wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and all the best for the new year.
To get you into the festive spirit, here’s one of our service users singing Oh Tannenbaum.
