RPC scores 100% in quality inspection
Our homes for adults with learning difficulties, 2 & 8 Kingsthorpe Grove, Northampton, scored 100% on a recent inspection by Northamptonshire County Council. The annual Contract Monitoring Report aims to identify possibilities for improvement and for working with the provider to ensure that the needs of service users are fully satisfied in the most efficient way.
The assessment involved an onsite visit, discussions with service users, service user representatives and staff, recorded evidence and direct observations. Areas assessed were defined under the following categories: health and hygiene, stimulation and social inclusion, care plans, environment and facilities, and quality management.
The homes scored 100% in all areas, with the report concluding that the ‘desired standards are fulfilled’, and the Contract Monitoring Officer remarked: “Your dedication, commitment and enthusiasm shone through.”
We were also delighted to receive a note from the father of one of our service users who wrote:
“Dear Friends
I am writing to congratulate every one of you on your recent brilliant NCC inspection report. To be awarded the maximum possible score is a truly remarkable and unprecedented achievement.
It is well deserved and is just reward for all of your hard work and dedication. Above all, as the parent of a resident, the qualities that impress me most are the excellent relationships you all have with the residents and their families, and the patience and care you always demonstrate. These are the qualities above all that make Kingsthorpe Grove a real home for your residents and make such a difference to the peace of mind of their families.
Well done once again – you can all be really proud of your success.”
