The Stroke Association – the UK’s stroke charity, which supports stroke survivors, families and carers, as well as funding research into the prevention and treatment of strok.

The Encephalitis Society – Encephalitis is inflammation of the brain tissue and is caused either by infection, usually viral, or by autoimmune diseases. The  Encephalitis Society provides direct support and information to people affected by Encephalitis, their families, and those professionals supporting them in the UK and Ireland; raises awareness about the condition and works with academic and clinical partners with respect to research into the condition and its consequences.

British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM) is a professional body for case managers & other professionals working with individuals who have a brain injury & complex needs.
