Jo Wilkins talking about the ethos and values of Richardson Care
Today, and over more than 30 years, we have always aimed to accomplish:
Taking positive steps to integrate service users into the local community. Our homes are close to a range of local amenities and facilities that are accessed fully by the home.
Respecting each persons’ individuality and uniqueness, protecting and actively supporting their individual right to experience growing autonomy
Treating everyone with dignity and respect and helping them to attain a valued role within their local community
Supporting each person in social integration and to develop culturally-valued relationships
Providing opportunities and support to enable each person to develop their ability to skilfully perform functional and meaningful activities
Placing service users at the centre of their care and focusing on what they can do, not on what they can’t.
