Family Survey Results 2023

“I couldn’t wish for better care for my relative, they are settled, happy and consider it their home. They’re always telling me of things they have done or are doing. The staff are wonderful and caring.”

We would like to thank the families of service users in our care who completed our annual survey at the end of last year. This is one of the comments that we received.

Each year we invite family members to complete a survey about their views on the quality of care that their loved-ones receive. In 2023, we received the comments below:

“He has a full and satisfying life and is very happy.”

“Everything is explained properly and within my daughter’s capability of understanding. Her dignity and respect are always adhered to…. When you see staff and residents together it is like family.”

“He has improved so much since being there [at The Coach House] and it is a safe and secure environment for him.”

“He is very happy and this is the result of professional care with such strong relationships at the centre of all you do.”

“My brother’s life has turned around and that’s because of Richardson [Care] and the staff.”

The survey results also revealed that:

  • 100% of respondents thought that the homes provide an inclusive/family environment
  • 94% felt that their relative is treated with dignity and respect
  • 94% would recommend Richardson Care
  • 81% felt that their relative’s quality of life has improved since arriving at Richardson Care
