Celebrating our 35th Anniversary in Style!

For 35 years, we have focussed on enabling our service users to live their best lives and feel part of the community. Therefore it seemed appropriate for all of the Richardson Care family to come together to celebrate our anniversary. We held a garden party at The Richardson Mews for all of our service users and staff. Combining some of the activities from a traditional garden fete with a beach holiday theme, we created a joyful, colourful experience for everyone.
Games included: ‘hook a duck’, ‘find the frog’, ‘name the teddy’, ‘tin-can alley’, darts, football and a ‘duck-shoot’.
Lots of people enjoyed the face-painting, adding to the festival atmosphere, and a magician really engaged individuals with his clever close-up magic tricks. The ‘bubble man’ came along and created beautiful bubbles that drifted across the garden, there was balloon modelling and everyone loved the miniature donkeys that came along too.
We had traditional beach holiday food; fish and chips followed by ice cream. And service users, Lynda and Emil cut the beautiful 35th anniversary cake.
Darren provided the music and the party reached full swing later in the afternoon when the karaoke started!
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our 35th anniversary party such a success. Use the arrows below to scroll through photos of the day.
