The Care Quality Commission, Public Health England and NHS Improving Quality have recently published reports commissioned by NHS England into the prescribing of psychotic drugs to people with learning disabilities. In 2010 Hazel was working as a personal assistant for a senior executive and was admitted to hospital with a serious bowel condition. Unfortunately her condition led to her being in intensive care for six months.
