Another care home scores 100% in quality inspection

27th November 2013 0

We are delighted that our care home for adults with an acquired brain injury at 144 Boughton Green Road, Northampton, has achieved 100% in a recent quality inspection, and would like to thank the Manager and staff for their continued dedication and hard work. It’s extremely rare to score 100% and this follows our homes for adults with learning difficulties also achieving full marks in their last inspection.

The annual Contract Monitoring Report by Northamptonshire County Council aims to identify possibilities for improvement and for working with the provider to ensure that the needs of service users are fully satisfied in the most efficient way.

The assessment involved an onsite visit as well as discussions with service users, service user representatives and staff. Recorded evidence and direct observations were also included and the areas assessed were defined under the following categories: health and hygiene, stimulation and social inclusion, care plans, environment and facilities, and quality management. The home scored 100% in all areas, with the report concluding that the ‘desired standards are fulfilled.’
