As Laura’s parents set up Richardson Care in 1989, she has grown up in the business and it is an integral part of her life. She lived and worked in the care homes as a teenager, starting as a trainee, then gaining marketing and business experience. Laura has worked full time in the organisation since leaving school and became a Partner in 2000. Her focus is on the strategic management of the business and retaining its strong ethics, particularly in relation to respect for service users and the provision of a high-quality care service. Laura is also responsible for furnishing the homes and ensuring they are kept to a high standard.
