Jo works closely with the other members of the multi-disciplinary team at Richardson Care and helps service users to set and work towards their goals. She works with people with acute and long term neurological conditions, and multiple or complex cognitive needs. She provides in-depth occupational therapy assessments and develops both maintenance and rehabilitation programmes. She also completes referrals and progress reviews.

In addition, Jo provides training to care staff so that they can continue to support service users with their occupational therapy on a daily basis.

Jo is a member of the RCOT (Royal College of Occupational Therapists) Specialist Section for Neurological Practice and bases her treatment plans on the latest evidence-based practice to help individuals reach their optimal potential. Jo has extensive experience of using various standardised assessments, particularly for cognitive and perceptual issues, and uses these to inform her clinical practice in using the most appropriate strategies with individuals.

Jo is an independent practitioner working with Krysalis Consultancy Ltd.
