About her role at Richardson Care, Jane says: “By having experienced, knowledgeable, approachable and supportive owners, I am privileged to be able to offer a service provision which provides the care and resources to make a very real difference to our service users. The most satisfying part of my job is when I am able to watch service users become more independent, and have a real sense of purpose. It is also a pleasure to influence and witness the dedication and passion of our staff, which positively impacts the service users engaging in their daily activities in their home environment.”
Jane’s passion to help others extends into her personal activities: She supports ‘100 ladles – Action for Homelessness’, a local charity supporting the homeless with person-centric advice, from supplying personal hygiene products, clothing and food kitchens to application support for rehoming.
Jane also takes part in disability sailing with the Jubilee Sailing Trust, teaching life skills, self belief and team building to all ability persons in a unique surrounding. Jane also enjoys coastal walking, cycling and dancing at music festivals from a variety of genres (from punk to jazz!). Most important, is spending quality time with her family, who support her fully in whatever crazy adventure she embarks on.
