In this video, Gill talks about her role at Richardson Care and what working here means to her.
Gill joined Richardson Care in May 2014 as Admissions and Referrals Co-ordinator and became Admissions and Referrals Manager in March 2019. Her previous career in the corporate world included events management, product launches and incentive travel, and she even had a brief spell running a pub! Her project management, organisation, compassion and people skills help her to work effectively with everyone involved in the admissions and referrals process. Gill also has professional experience of looking after someone with an acquired brain injury.
Gill finds her role at Richardson Care very rewarding, saying: “I love helping people to improve their quality of life. Seeing the difference that we can make to someone’s life is what it’s all about.”
Gill enjoys walking to and from work, and the friendly, welcoming environment at Richardson Care. She feels this is also very important to our service users.
Gill enjoys spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren, and socialising with friends at weekends.
